Virtua Fighter 5 (360) Screens - Sep 13, 2007 19:11
It' s cleaner, mostly because of the better anti-aliasing but it' s also just as sharp which is good. Some of the environmental textures look better too, but only marginally. All in all it looks like a great port to me. I' m still debating whether to buy this version too for the online play. I' d hoped they would offer a download over PSN to upgrade the PS3 version to model C + online...

Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

After DOA introduced the wide open arenas, it just feels limited to find in a ring, are there wide open arenas in VF?

In a good 1 and 1 fighting game the bloody ring should not be your focus.
Currently playing:
Korg DS 10 (ds) /  Metal Slug 7 (ds)
Rhythm Heaven (ds) /  Fire Emblem (ds)
Super Stardust HD (psn) /  Virtua Fighter 5 (360)

No, but the enclosed spaces add to the already tactical nature of the combat system. Like in Soul Calibur you can knock your opponent out of the ring so side-stepping is more important than in the DoA games.

Do the Challenges found in the Barracks and you' ll be able to upgrade your weapons once you' ve got enough kills per weapon for each attachment.

I look it cool and cinematic. It doesnt have to involve 200 hours of practice (preferably not actually)

Im not much of a fighting games person, DOA is enough for me, mostly because its more cinematic than tactical!

There is a difference between cinematic and graphics. as far as i know VF5 is better lookign than DOA4, but it looks boring to play.

The DOA style is better for me.

So you shut up or ill come to sweden and kick a pineapple up your ass.

Then I' ll counter with a melon g-whore!
Cinematics is related to visual impression just as graphics and since you prefer DOA simply because of the looks of it it means you' d rather have eye candy than good gameplay.... G-WHORE! G-WHORE! G-WHORE! G-WHORE!

I think you should buy a PS3 instead of the crappy 360 because it' ll have much better looking games.

That' s one of the few things for PS3 that I' m really curious about too actually. Besides MGS4 then.

By the way, is it just the screenshots themselves or are the graphics a little darker here? It just looked like it compared to footage from PS3 that I' ve seen.
