FFS! A Zelda shooter rumour!

ars technica reports that a source at the event has revealed to them that the Wii Zapper will come bundled with a new shooting game set in the Zelda universe: Zelda: Crossbow Training.

" The game looked beautiful," said the ars technica. " I' m pretty sure it was running on the Twilight Princess engine. It' s a third-person game, and you had some control over Link. While the video was way too short to get a good idea of the gameplay, it looks like a light-gun inspired Zelda title."

I' m not even going to give this the benefit of the doubt.

If Tingle gets his own game then... hey, why not this?

That gun shell suck balls. I' d rather mod my own then use that silly looking thing. After going to such efforts to make a stylish console/controller they come up with this!?!?!

So it' s more a mini game than a full sized one? No big deal I think. They probably thought that it was nicer to have a mini game in that setting compared to something more generic. Plus that it looks better graphically compared to the Mii-look. So I don' t get why anyone would complain if it' s bundled with the Zapper anyway. They also hope to make more people buy the Zapper because of it of course.

I don' t like it when companies whore out my favourite high profile characters to titles that doesn' t really do the character or its original franchise any justice.

I think its a big deal. They' re whoring out their greatest franchise(IMO) I know atleast 10 hardcore zelda fans that didnt want the zapper that probably want it now

Hm, I see where you guys are coming from. As a one time mini game it doesn' t bother me. Though if they would start to do this more often, that' s another case.
