PES 2008 vs Fifa 2008 - Aug 28, 2007 07:59
Just wondering where loyalty lies on Kikizo. I personally play both and then decide which one to buy which has resulted in 3 PES' in a row :) Apparently PES 2008 has a " dive" feature (which i dont particularly agree with but should be fun in multiplayer) but also PES aparently has Tottenham and Newcastle as the only liscenced premiership teams!!!

Well this is a choice that makes friends irl kill each other.

Im more of a FIFA guy and my friends, while my bro+friends loves PES and hates FIFA.
Even if you break 2 legs from a crab it still runs!
What you gotta do is find its weak spot and do massive damage at it.

I' m a PES fanboy, but this year the so called " Next-Gen PES" doesn' t look Next-Gen at all. The gameplay is better than PES 6 on the 360, sure, but the graphics are crap in comparison to FIFA 08. Konami is starting to get lazy. I' ll pick them both, but I think EA is, surprisingly, making a better game than Konami.

Don' t know for this year yet since I haven' t looked at any of the two really.

But normally I would go with PES. I always found that it just played better and was a bit harder than Fifa.

If PES goes on Wii I' ll get that over Fifa anyday. If not I' m gonna have to get Fifa this year.

If you like FIFA over PES you have issues.

Depends what you want, if you want the proper club names and proper player then FIFA, if you want football as realistic as can be then PES, that' s always been the case, personally if you can afford them both get both, that' s what I tend to do.

When PES4 was out I bought that over FIFA as it was far superior in play, the AI in FIFA was stupid.

I bought PES6 on loyalty to the brand for my 360 but I just wasn' t that impressed with it so I' m open to FIFA if they' ve pulled their socks up with this one.

and fights to the death over soccer brands are nothing new, on the Amiga you were either firmly in the Kick-off or the Sensible Soccer camps and of course hugely disliked the other.

PES for me. That' s the only game I am almost playing daily every year. The biggest flaw for me with FIFA is the lacking single player motivation (I.e. something like the Master League) and to be serious, now, after Konami finally improved the Master League greatly after several years, I don' t see any way how FIFA 08 could catch up.

Though this years PES will be a little bit sad. It' ll be the first time I possibly won' t be playing with Arsenal. Why did you have to go Henry?

I played fifa 07, its too fast, like its speed up 200% or something.

Pes all the way. Altough I am not the biggest soccer/soccer games fan.
Change is inevitable. Except from a vending machine.

Viva La Revolution! erm, I mean Viva La Wii!

Fifa is the easiest game in the world, you can basically win on World Class after about 2-3 games!!
