I agree,and one of the reason is because ubi soft is actually letting its beat team work on it.

Yeah that' s just the combat system. It' s an RPG at heart but apparently has some very cool platforming and exploration aspects.

Well, yeah! Since the shows ratings and popularity hasn' t dropped one bit in Japan. If say a million people in Japan are loving it, then a thousend complain, why change because of the minority' s complaints? And since it' s only the westerners that dislike shippuden, why the *** should the Japs care?

I really like Naruto, but t' ll take alot to convince me of this game... Not only because I have trouble imagining a good anime game, but also because I' m such a guy who hates to see this type of game made by another country than Japan... even though if Japan woulld make the Game it' s guarenteed to suck, like the rest of the anime games.

It' s one of the 360 games, i want, but damn is microsoft are slow to release the 65nm versions :-( and... 199 pro falcon version wouldn' t go a miss either.

Love the fact the game has Japanese voices too, even though it' s based very early in the show, which is a shame. But hey naruto beat-em-ups on the GCN were awesome imo

I kinda dislike this whole new crazy that has started surrounding everything that is Japan (I blame Anime). All of a sudden every westerner draws anime/manga characters and thinks Japan is " Super Kakoi" , even though they' ve never been there. I think it' s because nowadays everybody hates America or the U.S of A to be specific, so they needed to find another source of entainment/interest.

Anyways, I' m different. I' ve loved Japan since a little child, have been there, speak the language and can accept there are both good and bad parts about the country. Which makes it perfectly fine for me to criticize everybody else whom think Japan is Da-Bomb! [:' (]

Bah, really didn' t show much when it came to the fighting moves. The Kakashi player kept using the same combo and didn' t even use his techniques really. I' m a big fan of these naruto games. My friend owns all of the Japanese versions on PS2/Gamecube of the Naruto. I go over to his house and play them since he knows Jap. The best game that I' ve seen so far is the PS2 versions. It' s like they ripped the manga off of it' s pages and put it into a game. As far as the show Shippuden taking so slow, it' s because they catch up to the manga too quickly. I personally prefer reading the manga because it' s so far ahead of the show.

Games are your best friend as long as you don' t start talking to them.

This is the first western developed Naruto game, and it' s not a fighting game.

It' s being handled by Ubisoft Montreal, and they own.

Sorry, I didn' t mean for it to sound like I was comparing it to just fighting games. Also, the PS2 versions does have a story mode where you can wander throughout the Leaf city and other places outside of it. The coolest thing about playing the Naruto games is pulling off all of the different Jutsu techniques. Not just the unique clan techniques, but also the standard ones such as teleport, wood log replacement and etc.

I actually enjoy some Anime based beat-em-ups, so I would definetely love this game.

This is the first game were AAA developers has got a big budget to deliver something epic.

I was just letting you know from what I' ve seen so far that this game is missing those elements. Even if it' s on older systems that you may not like, doesn' t make it a lesser game. I realize that this is their first game but, I was merely stating that it' s still missing some elements that they could work on to make it better. By comparing it with other successful games in the past, it would be wise to borrow or use those same elements in future games.

As for naruto i actually preferred the GCN versions, though the ps2 rpg parts were neat.

LO looks cool but ive not been following it much at all. Sometimes following a game too closly ruins it for me.

RPGs are hard to find the time for though, but so far the only rpg i wreally wanna play through is ffvii prequel on the psp, but i don' t have a psp
