Well, now we' ll never know.

Maybe cloning is the key to bringing back all the stuff we' re off killing now.

Last I heard, the hangup with cloning is that the clone ends up beginning its life with the same types of age-related issues that its source had. I.E., Dolly the sheep, however old she was, say 10 years old (I don' t know the real age offhand). Her clone was a baby that had genetic characteristics of a 10 year old.

so clone the babies and then they can grow up and populate
