I don' t care how tactical, deep and balanced a battle system is if it' s no fun.
It just felt boring. Didn' t feel like fighting at all.

Akira Toriyama is one of the most overrated mangakas/concept artists in the world. Dragon Ball was pretty good until Raditz showed up and explained Son-Goku was an alien. After that the whole series was garbage. Real garbage.
And his style is so predictable and boring. All the characters in Blue Dragon looks like his characters from DBZ. And everything he has ever done looks the same. I' m not saying that he shouldn' t keep his style, but even within his own style he is limited. Dragon Ball is the only good thing he has ever done. He lives on the glory of his past.

If you mean it feels slow to having to see everycharacter summon his shadow and then shadow attack then I get what you mean, but that' s like 2 extra seconds per attack,I don' t find that annoying.

The game can be good if the story can hold its own, but I doubt it.
Blue Dragon is the simple game. Lost Oddyssey is the real game.

we will see about that.
The game has got some very good reviews beside Edge and EGM.

Ofc Sakaguchi is famous for being one of Famitsu most beloved peronsality and since Akira which his Dragon quest also worked on the game...in truth the game couldn' t got worser score then 9/10 from famitsu.

Its just couldn' t.
But one of them gaved it 10/10 and said he thought the game was to childish but he loved the complex skill system, the huge interactive world and rocking with Ian Gillan.

he refers to the boss music I guess.

Lets be honest here shall we?

N3 is an avg hackn slash, but with some cool fantasy setting and nice design and cool characters, well atleast I thought so.

If you dislike hack' n slash you will hate N3.

If you like hackn' slash you will find some enjoyment in N3 ask other people who bought it,hasnät heard anyone who bought it who said, omg totally garbage as every review said.

even tiz liked it.

I hate EMINEM!

If it' s true about the interactive world, then that' ve gotta be a first in a JRPG. Or have I missed some game?

Even if I love Final Fantasy, I really cannot call the world interactive, beyond the point of speaking with some people, and opening a chest every once in awhile.

FF9 but much more.

You know, every corner and every thing can be touched on basically.
Often money/items there.

For ex in ff9 they had tons of card spread out and items if you looked carefully around the screen.

In BD they gone beyond that and putting it on smaller stuff in the wild.
You need to hit that x button on everything that you see and shu will kick or try and reach for something.

In the first screen when you start the game if you kicked on some lodges you get permanent stats bonus and some items + money.
Nobody force you to do that, but its a nice feauture that make people go into every corner and house.

I take it in Blue Dragon the player isn' t alerted with any signs, when nearing an object that it is possible to " Do Stuff" with.

I kinda like that, makes it more fun to actually explore, if one actually hafta " Explore"

On a side note, Just preordered Halo 3: Limited Edition for My 360 and BioShock: Limited Edition for my PC. Congratualtions myself.

That' s not an elf, it' s like a midget troll.

HaHa!

Ahem...

I mean...

That was totally out of order dude. I don' t find those kinds comments beneficial to the productive nature of the Kikizo forums.

Seriously though.

-Blue Dragon' s graphics are tasty.
-The combat system certainly isn' t flawed, if not revolutionary.
-It reminds me of Okage: Shadow King. (I know it sucks, but I love it!)
-Selling point number 1? Japanese language with subtitles! A Japanese game is 10 times more palatable when you don' t have to listen to unbearably bad English dubbing. Haiyo Miyazaki films are the only media coming out of the far east that is worth listening to dubbed as well as original language.

The downsides?

-Rather bland environments.
-Repetitive boss music that, without hammering on it too much, is really tacky when you realise that it' s not Japanese, and that you can understand how " in to it" the band is.
-And erm...

Yeah... the characters wear a bit thin after a while.

Im getting the normal halo3,gonna dl the extra stuff videos.

I' ll be robbing my local Circuit City at sporkpoint.

I have the collection edition of halo2.
And I mean...it was just a cool case, the extra content(mainly the lame making of video) was crappy made.

You hardly get any info or insider views of the development or new comments.

Im not paying for that crappy extra content again.

I also got the Halo 2 limited Edition, mainly for the case... You mean to say Halo 3 doesn' t come with a cool case?! It' s Cool Caseless?!

I' ll still get the Lim Ed, ' cause I' m a sucker for those.

I thought it was really funny how the Nungie staff used Apple computers, in the making of Halo 2 video, when they are owned by MS.

You know what' s even more funny? How Microsoft is working together with IBM to produce the 360 processor even though IBM always supported Apple. Or how MS is releasing Office for Mac on a regular basis.

Anyway, I preordered the Legendary Edition. I actually wanted to get CE but well, after GTA IV got delayed I got some more money and the Legendary Edition seems to be really cool and actually limited. Because usually " Special Editions" of games aren' t limited at all =/

What' s the extras for Legendary Edition? If it' s stuff like a Doll Master Chief I don' t give a shit, but if the Discs contain more stuff, then I might need to change my order.

Also, about IBM, It' s pretty obvious for them to make for whomever pays the bill, just as it' s pretty good business strategy for MS to relese Office for Mac, thus make more money. Also Word IS imo opinion the best program of its type. That' s also the reason I was surprised that Bungie used Mac Computers, because it made it seem like they where the optimal choice, above PC' s, thus before Windows, which would seem like bad commercial for MS, in their own game.
