My Life Re-enacted
Warning: More not so true uber realistic graphic violence based very very loosly on the life of my own imagination...

First there was love and happiness



This, however, was not as happy as one could hope for. For there was a jealous rival...an angry violent one at that...

At first he would attack from the distance, causing me to beleive it was only my bad luck.



But soon the attacker got more daring and decided for soem up close confrontation.


This angered me! So I vowed revenge! I started as he did by keeping my distance.


And eventually grew my balls back.


My love however was not happy with this and thus left me.


The End...

O btw the icons were enlarged for some reason, but if you click them and then right click the 50x50 image they make for entertaining icons for AIM and what not. I made them for open distribution so have fun. :)

I wish I had the time and patience to make more tho. I tried using the same frame by frame method in Flash MX but that didnt go well.

Hey MassX your stick figure animations remind me of chalkboard animations that I used to do back in the early 90' s. The animation was just a chalkboard and a Sony Hi8 camcorder which limited me to 7.5 frames per second. I called it " The War" . That' s rather impressive. How much time did you put into that?

My things were so short and simple, yet still took a good amount of time (plus lots of trial and error). I could only image the work you put into those.

Still I find that type of stuff addictivly fun to do.

After watching that I' ve been re-inspired to get back to my little .gif projects. Actually I think I' m gonna try my hand at a few other styles as well.

Well since I was very lazy it took a few months with me working for an hour every few days or so. Sound mixing took a day or two.

How do you do yours? Photoshop? Imageready?

I origionally just wanted to make my own AIM icon. Thing is my one icon turned into more icons and I just couldn' t stop. I was very limited tho since AIM has an icon size limit. So I kept them at either 48x48 or 50x50 pixals. It was hard to find a comfy framerate, but I eventually settled for 10fps.

I never layed out my ideas before I started. This left me sitting around alot doing nothing but trying to think what the next frame will be. The actual process of drawing them wasn' t much quicker either. This was mostly because I used a crappy small mouse and went pixal for pixal (somtimes, actually, often I just half assed it and threw down a line not caring how it looked).

Non story format ...then again the others weren' t made for a story neither :P

I hate this one because I couldn' t get the ball to work right. The fps just didnt allow it.


Wanted to see how many frames a running guy would take. Not many actually, but making it look likes he' s running...what hell!


Just wanted to make somthing that had little details, however the size made most of it unnoticed. The enlarged veiw might help that.

I figured this thread needed bumping seeing how we have had a decent number of new members so i decided to try out the free webcam i got a few years ago. I' d never even taken it out of it' s box before now -- probably because it sucks!
