You live in Fla. Correct? On the one hand, we just got a foot of snow, and it looks gorgeous, but on the other, I' d love to be able to just take my weights out in the yard & lift whenever I felt like it.

I would have loved if Hitler had a army of angry gingers who tried to rule the world.

Is that all the weigh!? You can obviously see that I' ve never done much in the way of weights, dumbbells at most. I' ve stayed in shape all this time playing soccer baby, nothing more.

American - 45 pounds.

Yeah, I' m down here in Florida. I miss living in Minnesota and having the snowy winters. It is nice being able to run and workout outdoors year around though... except freaking days like today. 36 degrees out in the sun right now... in FLORIDA! I mean really, what the hell? It' s supposed to drop into the 20' s tonight.

Luckily I just set up my home gym this past weekend so I' ll be hitting that up for my daily workout.



Chimura, you' d be able to deadlift the bar... and probably your own body weight. Deadlifting is just grabbing the bar from a bent over squat position and standing up straight. You' re really only working your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back.

Here' s a pic from a workout I did last week. I ran a 5k and then immediately picked up an 80 pound heavy bag and had to carry it for 20 minutes.

Like I said, don' t know much about weightlifting, though if that' s all that dead-lifting is, then yeah, I should be able too.. Though I do know I can lift the sandbag like you are doing in the pic. I don' t know if I can walk with it for 20 minutes, but I can lift it, jaja.

What he' s trying to say, is don' t worry about deadlifting, or any of those namby-pamby lower body excercises. Chicks dig chest & arms man!
