Well I have to keep this thread aliver as im quite excited about it...
I was thinking last night and it seems the ps store and xbla were fantastic ideas... i think 1080p street fighter will lay the ground work for a full on street fighter sequel.
Obviously capcom can' t want to release a 3d sf game. but 2d games don' t tend to sell well, but on XBLA and PSN they will... i want a vampire savior one too... and a bluetooth wireless saturn like pad for them.

There' s still a place for awesome 2D art in games.
The Guilty Gear series has pretty much the best 2D sprites and animation (in a fighting game). IMO anyway.
Except nobody cares because guilty gear is shit compared to street fighter.

No. Street Fighter > Every other 2D fighting game > Guilty Gear Guilty gear is trash, no one would even remember the series if it wasn' t for the high res 2D sprites, thats the only thing it had going for it.

I agree that Street Fighter is the best 2D fighter. I think the Alpha series have the best games.

Is it wrong that I' m more interested in the Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD release?
