I' m not too worried about it either way. I' m probably going to go into insurance sales or claims in the next couple of months since trying to get into the videogame industry has been a waste. With that salary I' ll have my loans completely paid off in a year or two getting me out of the vast majority of the interest.

Also, when I got the loan I didn' t have credit. Never had a credit card. I' ve always had enough money to pay everything in full whatever I' ve bought, aside from the college education. I don' t like the idea of borrowing money and having to pay more later (yes I know I can pay the credit card off at the end of the month to avoid interest but whatever).

Once you get your first sweet taste of a credit card you' ll never want to look back again. Though, I have to say that we live in a society where some people rely way too much on their credit cards. The other day I saw some dude at a supermarket paying for a single $3 - $4 item with his credit card. Another time I saw some lady paying for a carton of milk and gum with her card.

The interest is higher on my money in the bank than it is on my student loans.

Yeah, that' s what I don' t want to end up doing. I am getting a credit card at some point this month just to start building credit. Will probably only use it for buying gas and then pay the card off right away.

Well because my loan was a fairly good size (it included student housing and such) and since I didn' t have any credit they made my parents take out most of the loan. I' m paying off that loan but because it' s under their name they don' t get the student discounts on their loan like you and I get.

You won' t build up credit if you pay it all off right away. You should still pay it all off but stretch it out for a couple of months instead of all at once. And remember you don' t need to get anywhere near the credit limit. That can actually hurt your credit rating if you' re constantly right up there.

I don' t think you can be denied federal loans no matter what your credit is, and their interest rates are low, but they won' t cover housing and living expenses, I had to have a good full time job while I went to college.

Federal student loans are about the only thing Republicans haven' t completely fucked up yet.

McCain unofficially won the Presidency when Obama beat out Clinton, and we all quietly know why.

It' s a shame too, because McCain is not what the Americans and for that matter the world need right now.

You' re out of your gourd. Even Rupert Murdoch, CEO of Fox, predicts an Obama landslide victory. Not only is Obama going to win, the Democrats are going to gain even bigger majorities in both the House and Senate.

As far as " quietly," screw that. You' re obviously alluding to white racism, but as you might be aware not only is the population of people of color growing in the U.S., but there are increasing numbers of whites who don' t allow their actions to be dictated by whatever prejudices they harbor.

Ive been preaching this at the beginning of the race. Don' t get me wrong I would love to see a black man in office. If you base the choice off on Americas past Obama will not be the president.

This war will continue to go on along with the high gas prices if mchain wins.

EmoFag I agree . America does not have any health care system to *** up.

All 3 candidates suck, and all 3 are liberal pieces of shit, including McCain.

Youre a stupid fuck, emofag. The more power you give to a government the worse. I would rather pay a private corporation than have to pay for mediocre healthcare from the government for myself and the unemployed whore down the street with 5 kids. Look at Canada. If they need a specialist they come to America for it. The only good thing about national healthcare is it makes routine doctor visits possible for poor people. But in the end, who cares about them anyway? I dont want to live in a communist country where we' re forced to support people who wont support themselves.

Thats the point. Giving another one of our few choices to the government. Then again, when you live in the ghetto I guess free healthcare seems like a good idea, dawg.

America is a Ghetto

I think we should have some type of health system. Every one cant afford open heart surgery or any well needed surgery. Its a sad thing when Tylenol cost more than bud light.

This system should only be for working people. Not the lazy folks you know the ones that sit on there ass.

Yes you do.

Americans pay thousands to go on vacations to europe just to experience what every day life is to the average middle class european.

Immortal - post statistics to back up your republican propaganda, there is 100 times more americans going to canada for healthcare than the other way around. Your example is retarded anyhow, are you implying that if we have free healthcare we' d have to send people to other countries for surgery? Where are the american doctors going to go? They won' t earn half as much in any other country, they' re stuck here, and they' ll have to continue to operate wether they like it or not.

Don' t be so quick to voluntarily relinquish your power, that' s just what the power elite want you to do. Voting does matter, mainly in your local elections for the (seemingly) most boring things like county commissioner, city council, etc. There is also more grip for other parties in the local elections.

Vote your conscience, even if it' s a " third party" or a write-in vote that has no " realistic" chance of winning. Only a nihilist would voluntarily mute themself, and they' re just taking up air anyhow.
