I want to see a dedicated Portal game on PSP. I don' t care if the PSP only has one joystick. Valve make it happen!

Are there any other worthy handhelds? DS could work but the screen is too small, 3D graphics are too crappy on a DS.

I would use the face buttons as a secons D pad/joystick. The portal buttons would be L and R. Jump would be pressing Up and Triangle at the same time.

Pressing them both at once causes you to jump straight up. In order to run and jump press and hold UP on the D-pad then press Triangle. While in the air you can change your fall direction simply with the D-Pad or nub if you prefer.

If Valve had any sense they' ll realise they could expand the complexity of the Puzzles with two screens. And the obvious is the touchscreen would make it play 10+ better than a PSP version.

Doing portal on PSP over DS would be daft. Portal is about accessability, clever puzzles and quick, tight controls. Everything the DS has over PSP.

There' s no point if you can' t see what you' re doing.

Hey and we' re waiting for all these Nintendo fanboys that are supposed to start flooding the place.

to be frank i dont think the DS can handle the physics it requires, it also has to be able to show the same graphics over and over again depending on how the portals are set!

I never back down.

What are you talking about? I made my point, destroyed your statement and moved on to another topic. DS is too weak for Portal end of story.

I' m not a PSP fanboy either, you have zero reason to beleve so. I actually bought a DS before I bought a PSP. They' re both good in their own right. I prefer PSP, that doesn' t make me a fanboy.

I actually think there' s a good chance of Portal ending up on DS. Not in it' s current form, but something akin to the Flash " tutorial" thingies...

That would be good on DS. Keep games on DS in 2D, 3D games look and play like ass on DS, but it' s good for 2D games. A 3D Portal on PSP would be also be very good.
