He has a certain distaste for 360, but when it comes to HI-DEF and TRUE 1080p instead of that downloaded " 1080p via component" rubbish, HDMI is the only way forward, so that' s why f3 wants the 360 ELITE. For the High definition experience.

The difference between HDMI and component is negligable. The TV itself makes the difference not the cable. At least in terms of video quality, sound is not the same story.

I heard Naruto gonna be aorund the 1-80 episodes of the anime. And I also saw a screen which said multiplayer player 2-3. Hmm... Could be 1vs1 battles or something else.

Is Naruto interesting for people over 15 years old? I haven' t seen the anime but since MS said something about it being the most popular show ages 7-15 or something it isn' t exactly encouraging me to watch it.

Has anybody actually noticed any difference between HDMI and component? Perhaps my TV' s don' t make the most of HDMI, but i can hardly tell the difference. Maybe it' s my eyes.

Is Naruto interesting for people over 15 years old? I haven' t seen the anime but since MS said something about it being the most popular show ages 7-15 or something it isn' t exactly encouraging me to watch it In one of the earlier episodes a guy get his throat slashed with a sword so the blood splashes everywhere. I know they said 8-14 but seriously my mom would never let me see anything like that when I was in 2nd grade. BUt I dont think parents have that much of a control or cares they see this " cartoonish" look and think its fine then. Seriously people get cut in the stomach with swords and bleed through the mouth and nose to death. Cant understand how people that is age 8-10 are allowed to see that. I had no problem seeing stuff like that when I was 12+ But these rating ppl should have put up some kind of restrictions, seriously. I think Naruto is more violent and for ex DOOM3 to pc. Seriously. I have no problem seeing monster dies, but people getting cut in the throat bleeding to death...thats not for someone who is 8. And yes Naruto works for people 20+ do you think in for ex Japan only kids see anime? Its teenage+adults mostly. But in America I doubt there is lots of people in our age Ginjrou who watch animé or atleast admits it. ps! yeah its most popular show for 8-14 in USA but doesnt that say much? people who is in the pokemon age and above prefer it,and even adults can play pokemon. Just because its not nr 1 for anime above that age doesnt mean its not good for us.

Yeah, there is definitely stuff in Naruto that isn' t for kids. Parents getting killed in front of their children (in a bloody way too) for example. Or someone using other bodies as hosts for himself. He also had torn skin hanging from his face in a fight once. Or a creepy look on his face while he laughed like a maniac, in the meanwhile his voice changed to a completely different one. The music isn' t too uplifting either during those parts. Other stuff is people exploding so blood flies around, talk about demons, others sacrificing themselves to the Death god who then devours their souls to kill another person etc. It' s nothing too shocking for most adults. It' s not like it' s 70' ies horror or something. But nothing I would consider to really be for children either. I guess a couple of those things would freak out kids hehe. I have seen fans over 40 in Japan though. But in the West a cartoon is always automatically something for children in the eyes of companies and the general public. I sometimes wonder if children understand all the plotlines in something like Naruto for example. I don' t know if they do this for Naruto but I know Dragon Ball got edited here and there so children could watch it in Europe.

In America, Naruto is considered for 7-15 years, that' s because they censor it as if it were a badly dubbed porno. You can only really see Naruto' s serious gritty presentation in the Japanese version of the show, the American one is just too friendly.

I used to read the french magna which was filled with gore and vulgarity. In the American show they took out everything that was good, and stretched out a page in the magna and turned it into 10 minutes. [:' (]

Same happened here in Germany with Dragonball. They aired it at 7:30pm and still censored it like hell. But hey, that' s Germany - cause anything violent makes a homicidal gunman out of you.

When I asked if people over 15 can see Naruto I wasn' t really thinking of the amount of violence in the series. It doesn' t mean adults can enjoy it just because it' s violent. I was more curious of how good it is in areas like story, animation and stuff like that. You know, is it GOOD enough for older people, not violent enough.

Well, I' m 30+ and I don' go wild over violence like the rest of the people around here seem to. I love Naruto. The only bad thing about the series is the actual character Naruto, he' s an annoying little bastard. " Believe it!" The rest kicks ass, even in it' s bastardized american form. The themes and plot are far from immature. There' s a reason it' s aired right before Adult Swim.
