12?? I was happy if they announced 8 player online so great news. Looks like Nintendo are getting there $#!T together, even if it took them so long to do it.

friend codes remind me of playing 1v1 duke nukem 3D and Decent using a 56k modem and dialing a friend' s number so he could answer with his computer.

I' m wondering if this will only let you race with people whom you' ve shared friend codes. That' s fine by me, it' s just that friend codes are a PITA, but once set up everything seems good.

I' m sure you' ll develop a healthy rivalry with 9873-4782-8234-0092, and share a lot of laughs with 4327-8493-3428-8944. Good thing there won' t be any voice chat, though, because 4234-7853-8934-8763 uses foul language on occasion!
