I get the concept, the idea is nice and all, but the game looks terrible from a graphical standpoint, animations arent all that.

Is 4 player coop the only thing thats kicked poeople into gear?

I suspect the game will look as good as HL2:Ep2 if not a little better. They tend to tweak things a bit each time.

For me its the fact that Turtle Rock is responsible and the AI will rock. That and imagining myself in a scene from 24 days later with 3 of my buddies. Usually coop just means everyone shooting everything that moves or die and respawn. Here if you don' t ' coop' you dont survive at all. You lose one member of your party and your own survival chances are jeopardised. So you' ll really have to work together and plan ahead to keep everyone alive.

Graphics wont matter so much in a game like this imo.

To me the game seems a bit boring. In my opinion it lacks any kind of originality. It looks like Serious Sam with Coop and less crazy enemies. Also, maybe I just watched the wrong videos, but the game seems linear to me. Is it possible for you to explore the city or do you have to follow predetermined paths?

Overall I think that the singleplayer experience is going to be totally boring (Will it even offer a single player mode?). Multiplayer, on the other hand, is going to be alright, but not because the game is good, but more like because coop multiplayer makes even the most bland game an enjoyable experience, as long as it gets the controls etc. right.
Still, it will have nothing on Dead Rising, and the up and coming Dead Island looks far more interesting in my opinion. Ratings-wise I guess Left 4 Dead is going to get 65-75%...it' s going to be decent, but nothing more.

(Those are no zombies btw., zombies dont run, zombies dont climb ladders, zombies dont come prepacked with explosives inside. Overall, I dont like that but I can see how the whole enemy concept (you cant run, you cant hide, you have to fight) might appeal to other people)

Graphics won' t be pushing the title quite frankly. 4 player coop is more than enough to tickle my fancy.

Speaking of Dead Rising, will Capcom still be able to make DR2 considering all the lawsuits from Dawn of the Dead?

MKR have no grounds. You can' t copyright the premise of zombies in a shopping mall. I expect it' ll all get sorted out quickly and the sequel will be announced at E3.

Dead Rising was brilliant, but theres room enough in the world for both ' slow' and ' fast' zombies, both have their charms!

I certainly like the prospect of playing a good zombie game with friends. And the article on the bad guys descriptions we had a while back certainly was pretty good.

I dont know what to think with left 4 dead, its got a great idea and on paper the gameplay sounds great, but whole real game from videos plays too fast and almost too much like unreal. The zombie survival genre is a great place to play but I dunno about this one.

Some games need the graphics to boost their profile, but L4D isn' t going to be one of those. Certain games need it, certain games dont.

I think 2human needs better animations at least, even though the combat isn' t supposedly the focus. The visuals I thought were actually quite good though. Y' know you' re either going to be really happy or really sad when Too Human comes out aren' t you.

Clean and non glitchy graphics are a must, good graphics are a plus. However, great gameplay will transcend any material measure of a game.

-Fast and Numerous Zombies.
-online co-op.
-players also get to be zombies as well.
-there are different types of zombies.
-Zombies get to spectate the match and choose when and where to spawn.

Need I go on?

There are a bunch of zombie games coming out. You only need to look at two. RES5 and Left4Dead. The rest are trash by comparison.

I assume there would be restrictions on this? Right?
