DMC4 demo possibly coming Jan. 31? - Jan 18, 2008 03:57

January 16, 2008 - Capcom has not officially committed to a release date for the Devil May Cry 4 demo. However, the date appears to be revealed on Capcom' s two official minisites, deceiverdeceived.com and betrayerbetrayed.com. One section of the minisites solicits fans to download a DMC4 widget to post on blogs or their own fan sites. The sample image on the page for the widget states that the DMC4 demo will be made available on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on January 31.

It should be noted, however, that if you download the widget, it contains no mention of the demo. Currently, the widget shows the latest DMC4 trailer. No other details regarding the demo are offered on the two minisites.

Keep in mind that Capcom has yet to confirm timing of the DMC4 demo. It is possible that the date listed is merely placeholder and that the image was placed on the minisite accidentally.

We will update this story when we receive a comment from a Capcom official.
