Begining Programming need help? - Nov 21, 2006 14:47
If some one knows I would really appriciate the help.
I know I need to read some books but... what do you suggest?

Any simple (like editable programs i could practice on)
things that you know of, accessable to a novice willing to learn
i know I need to learn a language
in case you are wondering this is really meant for game development

Guess I should look back into Beats Of Rage

But what about easy mod PC games that require some programming

Thx anyway

Unreal Tournament 2004 special edition came with a DVD with many hours of tutorial video on how to make mods. I don' t think they sell special edition anymore though.
They might have one for Unreal Tournament 2007. Also the Unreal Engine has always been the easiest to learn and make mods for.

yeah I had that one, I wish I kept it. It had a really good tutorial on how to make 3d models. Nothing I would want to do but I like knowing how its done.
